Best in Show

While visiting my sister in Anchorage, Alaska we happened upon a dog show. In the giant metal building, humming with big and little yaps and barks, I found humor in the juxtaposition of people and dogs. These photographs are firmly rooted in the elements and principles of composition- scale, texture, proportion, balance.

These photographs celebrate our dogs, our connections to them and the preposterous things they make us do.
